Sewn Up Gifts

Good Friday found us at our brilliant local gardening shop run by volunteers and supported by our town council and the whole community.

This amazing site has expanded and improved over the recent 10 years and now offers a huge selection of plants shrubs equipment etc. But most importantly the lovely people who help and work there are always ready to advise answer queries and offer help with large items ie bags of compost etc!

Anyhow the latest venture is the opening of a small handicraft shop. All the items are hand made in our town and lovingly made they are too.

Of course I wanted to be in on the game and was very lucky to be able to rent a hanging space and shelf for my makes, which are mostly bags. This is my first attempt at retail selling via a shop and although it is a small start it is very exciting!
